Juniors

This is a facility provided by the Club that gives children an opportunity to experience angling and aquatic activities in a relaxed atmosphere. The Juniors season runs from around the start of school Term 4 through to the end of school Term 1 and they have a number of activities during these months. A few of which include the Bill Kerr Pool Competition, Crab Day down at Dawesville, Wally Lothian Day, Fishing Charter and MAAC Junior Camp.

Whilst at Juniors on Sundays, the children have available to them, Kayaks, snorkel sets, fishing rods, boogie boards, pool table, table tennis and soccer tables. We also have 2 aluminum dinghies that we use to take the children fishing in local waters when weather conditions are favorable.

At MAAC Juniors we require a certain amount of parent participation in order for the program to run smoothly. Each Sunday that the Juniors is open we will roster at least six parents on duty for the day. We aim to make the Juniors a place where parents and their children can come along and enjoy the "Great Outdoors" and experience some great times with their peers.

Due to the popularity of the Juniors there is currently a waiting list, so if you wish to add your child's name to the list, please contact the club.
