The Marmion Angling and Aquatic Club is Western Australia’s leading Angling and Aquatic Club and is situated in a beach front location on West Coast Drive, Marmion. With gorgeous, uninterrupted panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, the MAAC is a popular venue for members and families to enjoy this beautiful part of our country.
Since the club’s establishment in 1953, this members only facility has been a popular spot for fisherman and the local community. The club offers fishing, diving, pool, darts, juniors activities and bar and restaurant facilities in a family friendly environment.
The MAAC also boasts function facilities with sweeping ocean views, which is available for both our members and the public to hire for weddings, engagements, corporate events, birthday celebrations and more.
Commencing on April 15th, the MAAC Club will have temporary disruptions to our facilities due to renovations. The Club is due for a refresh and we can’t wait until our new light and bright interior will be ready to share with our members.
The Seawall Bar ONLY will be open on Monday and Tuesday each week from Noon to Close. From Wednesday to Sunday both the Seawall Bar and Bluewater Room will be open from Noon to Close. For the first two weeks there will be BAR SNACKS only in the Bluewater Room while the Restaurant is being renovated and the Restaurant will open again on Wednesday, 1st May with entry through to the Bluewater Room. The Bluewater Room will house the main bar from Wednesday through to Sunday.
The Marmion Angling & Aquatic Club is the largest fishing Club in Western Australia. Currently the Club has a restricted membership base in overall numbers as set by the General Committee taking into consideration the size of the club-rooms, parking and the need to maintain a stable and working relationship with all those living in the immediate area. Expressions of interest for membership will be held on file in date order and reviewed by the Committee as and when vacancies occur.
As a fishing and diving club, we are always seeking to join members who have a keen interest in these areas.
