Fishing

As Western Australia’s largest fishing club the MAAC has a very active angling division. The Angling & Sports Division run monthly fishing competitions. Boats launch Saturday morning  with competitors returning to the club for the weigh-in at 4pm.  After the weigh-in a BBQ is held in the boatshed for participants, their families and club members to attend – all are welcome!

We compete in a number of interclub fishing competitions during the year. Most are in the Perth with several regional competitions including Jurien Bay and the South West where the “fishos” can test their skills out of their home waters.

All members are welcome to join in – please contact the office on 9447 1733 or arty@maac.com.au
