In light of the State Government’s recent announcement to ban the fishing of demersal species until September 2027, the General Committee has made the difficult decision that the Blue Water Classic will not continue while this ban remains in place. The event will be reviewed once the ban is lifted.
I would like to sincerely thank the volunteers and sponsors that have supported the event and played an important role in its success, and we are hopeful that we can continue to work with them in the future.
The Club will be hosting a thank-you event for our volunteers and sponsors in February. As a past volunteer or sponsor you can register your interest through the office.
